See the picture below.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">\n  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/data\/content\/doc\/wordpress\/post-docx-source\/language\/language-option-en.png\" alt=\"language-option\" title=\"language-option - How to set the language\" \/>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\n  Language should be typed as <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_ISO_639-1_codes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ISO 639-1 code<\/a> with optional country <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/ISO_3166-1#Current_codes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ISO 3166-1 code<\/a>. E.g. \u2018en\u2019, \u2018ru\u2019, \u2018de\u2019, \u2018pt-br\u2019 etc.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\n  Language can be set from the two sources:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\">\n    The filename second extension of the MS Word document. E.g. \u2018My document.<strong>en<\/strong>.docx\u2019.\n  <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify\"><a href=\".\/how-to-set-or-add-attribute-in-document\">The extended attribute<\/a> in the document named \u2018<strong>language<\/strong>\u2019 or \u2018<strong>Language<\/strong>\u2019.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\n  And it can be chosen by click on the link which source to use (see picture above). There are three modes:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>separate attribute<\/strong>\n    <\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\n      Extract only from the extended attribute.\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>separate attribute or filename<\/strong>\n    <\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\n      Extract from document\u2019s filename or extended attribute. If the last one is set it will be used despite the first one.\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>filename<\/strong>\n    <\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">\n      Extract only from the document\u2019s filename.\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: When <a href=\".\/links#name_path_conversion\">links to other DOCX documents<\/a> are used this option should be enabled because documents\u2019 names are always used for it.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: This option is shown only when one of the multilanguage plugins is active.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>Warning<\/strong>: Only <a href=\"https:\/\/wpml.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WMPL<\/a> languages are supported now.
