In the last link, we described another way to provide the Internet to mobile. But if we have a laptop, netbook or PC we can use its Internet connection on our mobile devices.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  We can connect mobile devices via:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Wi-Fi<\/strong>\n    <\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        It\u2019s a preferable way because we don\u2019t lose the ability of the mobile phone to be mobile.\n      <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        If the computer doesn\u2019t have a Wi-Fi adapter, we should obtain it. The price for it isn\u2019t a big deal. The cheaper and smaller form-factor is USB. But there are PCMCI (for laptops) and PCI (for PC\u2019s) adapters. So, we may choose what type is more preferable and convenient for us.\n      <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>USB<\/strong>\n    <\/div>\n<ul start=\"3\">\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        It\u2019s used when we don\u2019t have or can\u2019t use the Wi-Fi adapter on the computer.\n      <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        USB cable is required, and it should be included with our mobile device.\n      <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        We might have to install software on mobile devices.\n      <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        And here we limit our mobility by the length of a cable.\n      <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        Finally, it\u2019s supported on specific configurations.\n      <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>Bluetooth<\/strong>\n    <\/div>\n<ul start=\"8\">\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        It\u2019s used when we have the same situation with the Wi-Fi adapter in the previous bullet point.\n      <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        It requires having a Bluetooth adapter on the computer.\n      <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        We save mobility but in a very shorter distance rather than Wi-Fi.\n      <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n        This way works with a limited number of configurations.\n      <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  Below are technical descriptions of how to use PC\u2019s Internet on\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"#android\">Android (phones and tablets)<\/a>,\n  <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"#iphone_ipad\">iPhone, iPad<\/a> and\n  <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><a href=\"#windows_phone\">Windows Phone<\/a> devices.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"android\"><\/a>Android phone and tablet<br \/>\n<\/h2>\n<h3><a id=\"android_wifi\"><\/a>Use the Internet via Wi-Fi<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n    We should <a href=\".\/when-is-internet-connection-sharing-used\">share the Internet<\/a> on our laptop, netbook or PC through creating a <a href=\".\/pc-hotspot\">Wi-Fi hotspot<\/a>.\n  <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n    And after that, we need just to <a href=\".\/how-to-setup-wi-fi-on-tablet-or-mobile-phone-in-3-steps\">connect our android phone or tablet to the created Wi-Fi network<\/a>.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a id=\"android_usb\"><\/a>Use the Internet via USB<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n    Some earlier versions of Android have a special option \u201cUSB internet\u201d in \u201cWireless &amp; networks\u201d section. Enable it and just follow the instructions.\n  <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n    If the device doesn\u2019t have such option we may use special software like <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.floriandraschbacher.reversetethering.free\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Reverse Tethering<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.mstream.easytether_beta\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Easy Tether<\/a>. Notice that they are freemium and have some limitations. E.g. Reverse Tethering has a time limit and Easy Tether doesn\u2019t work with secured (HTTPS) sites.\n  <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n    We need to install it on the mobile device and the computer. Follow each application instructions to properly set up the connection. When the application asks for type choose USB if applicable. Special software for computers emulates our android mobile as a separate network adapter. Through this application, we should enable connection to USB and after that <a href=\".\/when-is-internet-connection-sharing-used\">share the Internet connection<\/a> with new installed tether mobile adapter.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  Also, we can <a href=\".\/three-options-of-how-to-connect-mobile-internet-to-pc-laptop-or-netbook#android\">use phone as a modem<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"android_bluetooth\"><\/a>Use the Internet via Bluetooth<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  There is no built-in way to do this. Android can be acting as Bluetooth modem to share its connection. But we can use the <a href=\"#android\">Easy Tether application from the previous point<\/a>. It works with Bluetooth too.\n<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"iphone_ipad\"><\/a>iPhone, iPad<br \/>\n<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  Notice that also we can use the <a href=\".\/three-options-of-how-to-connect-mobile-internet-to-pc-laptop-or-netbook#iphone_ipad\">iPhone as a modem<\/a> to share its connection to the computer.\n<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"iphone_ipad_wifi\"><\/a>Use the Internet via Wi-Fi<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n    We should <a href=\".\/when-is-internet-connection-sharing-used\">share the Internet<\/a> on our laptop, netbook or PC through creating a <a href=\".\/pc-hotspot\">Wi-Fi hotspot<\/a>.\n  <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n    And after that, we need just to <a href=\".\/how-to-setup-wi-fi-on-tablet-or-mobile-phone-in-3-steps#iphone_ipad\">connect our iPhone or iPad to established Wi-Fi<\/a>.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a id=\"iphone_ipad_usb\"><\/a>Use the Internet via USB<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n      For <strong>Mac<\/strong> computers\n    <\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n          There is a standard feature that enables this only in Apple devices. But it\u2018s not the legitime way and we don\u2019t recommend doing it. It requires <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">jailbreak our device<\/span> so it is our own risk.\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a id=\"iphone_ipad_bluetooth\"><\/a>Use the Internet via Bluetooth<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  This works only with Mac computers. The steps are similar to <a href=\"#iphone_ipad_usb\">connecting via USB<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n      Open the \u201cSharing\u201d panel in \u201cSystem Preferences\u201d and choose a particular connection (e.g. Wi-Fi) as a sharing connection and select \u201cBluetooth PAN\u201d in the \u201cusing\u201d section.\n    <\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\n      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/data\/content\/post\/solutions\/how-to-connect-pc-internet-to-mobile-phone-or-tablet\/mac-internet-sharing-bluetooth-to-mobile-en.png\" alt=\"mac-internet-sharing-bluetooth-to-mobile\" title=\"mac-internet-sharing-bluetooth-to-mobile - How to connect PC internet to mobile phone or tablet\" \/>\n    <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n    After that just <a href=\".\/how-to-add-bluetooth-to-pc-in-mac-desktop-or-laptop\">pair via Bluetooth our Mac<\/a> and the <a href=\".\/pairing-bluetooth-mobile-devices-in-3-steps\">phone<\/a>.\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  Notice that the <a href=\".\/three-options-of-how-to-connect-mobile-internet-to-pc-laptop-or-netbook#iphone_ipad\">reverse option<\/a> is also available.\n<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"windows_phone\"><\/a>Windows Phone<br \/>\n<\/h2>\n<h3><a id=\"windows_phone_wifi\"><\/a>Use the Internet via Wi-Fi<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  We should <a href=\".\/when-is-internet-connection-sharing-used\">share the Internet<\/a> on our laptop, netbook or PC through creating a <a href=\".\/pc-hotspot\">Wi-Fi hotspot<\/a>. After that we able to <a href=\".\/how-to-setup-wi-fi-on-tablet-or-mobile-phone-in-3-steps#windows_phone\">join Windows Phone to new Wi-Fi<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"windows_phone_usb\"><\/a>Use the Internet via USB<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  Unfortunately, we haven\u2019t found a clear solution to do this. On Windows Phone 7 this option was available but in later versions, the vendor has removed it. But we might be interested in back operation when we are <a href=\".\/three-options-of-how-to-connect-mobile-internet-to-pc-laptop-or-netbook#windows_phone_usb\">using a phone as USB modem<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"windows_phone_bluetooth\"><\/a>Use the Internet via Bluetooth<br \/>\n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">\n  Unluckily, we haven\u2019t found any way to do this.
