Update content in-placePost .DOCX Source for WordPress

It appears as the special meta-box named “.DOCX Source” under the main editor. All changes will be put to the particular editor places.

Externally linked images can be uploaded by choosing the folder that contains it.

Optional settings#

Source types#

File#

An ordinary local file can be chosen.

Google Document#

Google Drive Document can be chosen via special dialog. For this mode to work, you must first do the setup.

Google Document by URL#

A Google document can be chosen by providing any shareable link or ID. E.g.:

Classic editor#

Classic editor is fully supported including post body, title, slug, featured image, excerpt, categories, and tags.

Note: If Gutenberg is active in WordPress, the option ‘Use Gutenberg formatting’ will be visible, but turned off by default.

Gutenberg editor#

Gutenberg editor is also fully supported.

By turning off ‘Use Gutenberg formatting’ classic content will be inserted rather than using Gutenberg blocks.
